Please find the running order for our Troupe & Solo Showcase below. Please note that we are aware that some dancer's have dances back to back, please do not stress as there will be additional time on the day.

COSTUMES & PRESENTATION
WHAT DOES MY DANCER WEAR?
Troupe and solo performers will wear their competition costumes for the Troupe and Solo Showcase. Full costume and presentation requirements are specific to each troupe and can be found on your Troupe Website or using the link below.
Please note: Dancers will not have the time to change their hairstyles. Dancers who do Classical troupe will keep their bun for the whole showcase.
WARM-UP LAYERS
Troupe & Solo Dancers will do a warm-up together before the showcase. Please have your dancer dressed as you would for a competition with their dance underwear and stockings on under their full TDA uniform. Dancers are welcome to arrive wearing their TDA jumper, a TDA tracksuit pants or booties over their uniform to keep warm until they are ready to perform.
Please label all shoes, bags and belongings with your dancer's name before arriving at the venue. If your dancer attends multiple styles, pack all required footwear in a clearly labelled bag so the transition between classes is smooth and stress-free.

HOW THE DAY WORKS?
DANCER DROP OFF
At the drop off entrance of the venue. Our TDA team will be there to welcome your dancer.
DURING THE SHOW
Dancers sit in a special reserved audience section supervised by our team when they are not performing & a changing area to change between their costumes if needed.
FAMILIES
You will have your ticket checked at the audience door, then head inside and find a seat in the audience area. Doors open before the show begins.
BACKSTAGE
WHAT DOES MY DANCER NEED TO BRING?
We encourage our Troupe & Solo dancers to pack light when attending performances. Please ensure you dancer has everything they need including their costumes in a clearly labelled bag. You can find a packing list on our Troupe Website below.
PRACTICE AT HOME
HOW CAN MY DANCER PRACTISE?
Class videos are shared via BAND after each lesson. Head to your dancer's class group in the BAND app to find the most recent recordings. Regular practice at home builds confidence and makes the showcase moment so much more rewarding for your dancer.
PHOTOS & FILMING
CAN I FILM & TAKE PHOTOS OF MY DANCER?
Absolutely yes! Families are warmly encouraged to capture every moment. Please feel free to photograph and film your dancer's performance throughout the show. We will also have a professional photographer there on the day who will be capturing some special moments. Please note that this is different from eisteddfods, where the majority of the time you are unable to film or take photos when the dancers are on stage.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Where can I find details about costumes, hair, makeup, tights and shoes?
Our TDA Troupe Website is your go-to guide for everything to do with Troupe, including costumes, hair, makeup, tights and shoes. It can be found through BAND or the links above. Please make yourself familiar with this site and ensure your dancer has everythign they need.
My dancer is both in a Troupe Showcase as well as another. How does this work?
If your dancer performs in both the Troupe and Solo Showcase and a main school showcase, these are separate events on the schedule. Please check both show times and plan accordingly. Contact us if you need help confirming your dancer's full schedule. We have developed a Weekend Pass Ticket so that you are able to attend multiple showcases.
Can parents go backstage or into the dancer's audience area?
The backstage area and dancer's audience area is for dancers and TDA staff only, the same as it will be at competitions. This keeps our dancers focused and our team running smoothly. Your dancer is in wonderful hands.
