UNIFORM, HAIR AND FOOTWEAR
At The Dance Academy, wearing our studio uniform helps create a strong sense of belonging within our TDA family and a shared identity in the wider community. Uniforms, hair and footwear are compulsory for all dancers and play an important role in supporting a positive and focused learning environment. Please find our uniform guide below as well as our online uniform shop where you can purchase uniform and it will be devlivered to the studio.

THE ESSENTIALS
FEES
All tuition fees are paid via monthly direct debit/autopay, processed on the 1st of the month, using a nominated bank account or credit card in your parent portal. Payment details can be updated at any time through the parent portal and must be kept current. Click on the button below to go directly to our parent portal. Your First Payment will be slightly larger than your weekly payments, as you will have the $50 Registration Fee.
Our fees are inclusive which means your annual tuition is divided into 11 equal monthly payments from February to December. Our tuition (excluding troupe) includes class tuition, administration, end-of-year costume hire, production and concert fees, concert video, photo day and concert rehearsals.
PARENT PORTAL
Our Parent portal is where you can log absences, view your transactions, and update your billing information.
ABSENCES & MAKEUP CLASSES
If your dancer is away for their class, you will still be charged your regular fees but they can do a makeup class the following week in Terms 1, 2 & 3. They are able to attend any class for their correct age group as their makeup class in either location. All makeups need to be used within a month of the absence. Troupe classes are not eligible for makeup classes. If a dancer wishes to attend a makeup class, please contact our admin team at [email protected] to request a makeup class
JOIN US ON BAND
BAND is your "one stop shop" for everything at TDA. It is our main method of communicating to you, it will include; class updates, reminders, photos, videos, music and practice resources. This means you can stay up to date, celebrate your dancer’s progress and support them to practise confidently at home. Both parents and students who have their own device are welcome to join.
You will need to join at least 2 bands, Our TDA Band Family BAND, and the specific band for your dancers age group, and location! If you have multiple dancers, or if your dancer does classes across a few different days, you will need to join the groups for these classes as well.
Please Set your Name as your First and Last name, with your Dancer/s name in brackets next to your last name.

WITHDRAWALS
Enrolment is presumed for the year and re-enrolment term to term automatically rolls over from term to term unless we are are notified of withdrawal. To withdraw from a class, 14 days written notice from the 1st of the month is required via [email protected].
