Our Showcase is divided by level and location. Find your dancer's show, note the arrival time and make sure you are on time.

UNIFORM & HAIR
WHAT DOES MY DANCER WEAR?
All our dancers perform in their TDA class uniform. Please ensure it is clean, complete and fits well on the day. Find your dancer's style below for the full uniform breakdown.
Please note: Dancers will not have the opportunity to change their uniform between performances. The only changes permitted on the day are adding shorts or leggings over a leotard, and changing shoes between styles.
FEMALE UNIFORM
Ballet Uniform
Leotard - Level colour leotard.
Skirt - Level colour skirt (optional)
Winter Top - if it is cold
Tights - Convertible ballet tights in theatrical pink OR skin tone.
Shoes - Ballet shoes in theatrical pink OR skin tone to match your tights or socks.
Jazz & KLT Uniform
Top - Level colour leotard OR TDA Crop Top
Bottoms - TDA Black Bike Shorts OR TDA Black Leggings
Winter Top - if it is cold
Tights/Socks - Convertible tan tights OR convertible ballet tights if your dancer also does ballet OR tan dance socks.
Shoes - Tan jazz shoes
Acro & Contemporary Uniform
Top - Level colour leotard OR TDA Crop Top
Bottoms - TDA Bike Shorts OR TDA Leggings
Winter layer - Junior Winter Top for cold days
Tights/Socks - Convertible tan tights OR footless tan tights OR convertible ballet tights if your dancer also does ballet.
Shoes (Acro) - Bare feet
Shoes (Contemporary) - TDA socks OR half-shoes

Top - TDA Male Shirt OR TDA Male Leotard
Bottoms - Black Dance Shorts OR Black Tight Leggings.
Socks - Black Dance Socks

WARM-UP LAYERS
Dancers are welcome to arrive wearing their TDA jumper, a TDA tracksuit pants or booties over their uniform to keep warm until they are ready to perform. Please pack these separately so they are easy to remove before going on stage.
Please label all shoes, bags and belongings with your dancer's name before arriving at the venue. If your dancer attends multiple styles, pack all required footwear in a clearly labelled bag so the transition between classes is smooth and stress-free.
HAIR
For safety & focus, hair must be worn neatly and in the style below:
Long Hair or Girls
Must wear hair in a neat bun
Long fringes should be pinned or gelled back
We welcome clips, scrunchies and bun blossoms, provided they are secure and worn close to the bun
Short Hair or Boys
Hair should be neatly groomed
Fringes should be pinned or gelled back
Longer hair should be tied back so it is out of the face
DOES MY DANCER NEED MAKEUP?
No makeup is required for the Mid-Year Showcase. Students are welcome to wear light makeup if they would like to, but it is absolutely not necessary.

DANCER DROP OFF
At the drop off entrance of the venue. Our TDA team will be there to welcome your dancer.
DURING THE SHOW
Dancers sit in a special reserved audience section supervised by our team when they are not performing.
FAMILIES
You will have your ticket checked at the audience door, then head inside and find a seat in the audience area. Doors open before the show begins.
SHOWCASE ORDER
WHAT ORDER DO THE CLASSES PERFORM IN?
All showcases follow the same class order so you know what uniform your dancer needs to me in first.
DANCER DROP OFF
At the drop off entrance of the venue. Our TDA team will be there to welcome your dancer.
DURING THE SHOW
Dancers sit in a special reserved audience section supervised by our team when they are not performing.
FAMILIES
You will have your ticket checked at the audience door, then head inside and find a seat in the audience area. Doors open before the show begins.
Full class-by-class running orders will be available on the day. Our team will be organising our dancers on the day and letting them know what is coming up as well as having printed orders in their area.
PRACTICE AT HOME
HOW CAN MY DANCER PRACTISE?
Class videos are shared via BAND after each lesson. Head to your dancer's class group in the BAND app to find the most recent recordings. Regular practice at home builds confidence and makes the showcase moment so much more rewarding for your dancer.
PHOTOS & FILMING
CAN I FILM & TAKE PHOTOS OF MY DANCER?
Absolutely yes! Families are warmly encouraged to capture every moment. Please feel free to photograph and film your dancer's performance throughout the show. We will also have a professional photographer there on the day that will be capturing some special moments.
